Are you very sensitive to other’s emotions and energies? Perhaps you’re finding that your living or working environment is overwhelming to your senses. You process your conversations and experiences so deeply. Maybe you’re that HSP who feels pressured by others to take part in events or experiences that you know will leave you flattened for days. Or you may feel guilty for needing to take some time away from your partner or kids, just to regroup. It’s a noisy world, and you may be wanting support to turn down the volume in your daily life.

Did you know that the traits of a Highly Sensitive Person, are shared by 20-30% of the population? Dr. Elaine Aron is the primary researcher on the HSP trait and has found it to be cross-species. Here is the link to Dr. Elaine Aron’s self-test if you’ve not yet had the chance to try it:

My role as your therapist is to take into account your HSP trait, as we work together. I’m an HSP myself. The great news is that as a group, HSPs are more naturally suited to benefit from therapy than non HSPs. Whatever your reasons for seeking therapy, you’ll be given the time and space to reflect, feel and think deeply, going over it all! We’ll explore ways to soothe your senses through expressive, self-compassionate and body-centred therapy. We’ll take a look at how you want to live your life, and what matters most to you, deep in your heart.

I look forward to supporting you on a journey towards feeling more confident in yourself, as you are. I promise to hold a safe space for you in therapy.
