Hello, I’m Vivienne, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Ontario and founder of Healing Steps Counselling. Everyone brings their unique gifts to this life, and we all need support at times on the journey. I will listen respectfully and with empathy to your challenges and concerns, as we build upon your strengths. I’m a creative and compassionate therapist with 13 years experience. Together we will explore your goals, enhance healthy coping strategies, and discover/recover what brings meaning to your life.
I celebrate the cultural diversity that is Canada. For many years I have worked as a music therapist in rehabilitation with persons of all ages and abilities. I have lived experience of challenging life metamorphoses and I believe this enriches my work as a psychotherapist. As an intuitive Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), I have learned to balance priorities to thrive in this crazy, beautiful world. I am a mother to four young people and bring this wealth of experience to my practice.
I take a holistic approach to mental health and wellness. Body, mind and emotions are all inextricably linked in the human experience. This informs the therapeutic experience as we move at your preferred pace and direction.
